Motion Theory asked me to explore suggestive shapes that would later evolve into "brilliant ideas" or total duds. For this image, I quickly created a bunch of shapes in black cut paper, scanned them and then started randomly spraying them in vector format. After pushing and gently rearranging the shapes, I added sampled color from Blue Note album covers.
